Most collars comes with either a FREE Nickel Plated padlock (Heart or Round Shape) and 2 keys or a FREE Solid 925 Sterling Silver Lobster Claw Clasp (Unless otherwise stated).

Solid 925 Sterling Silver (24/7) Lock upgrade options are available in the "Lock" drop down menu. To upgrade your free nickel plated lock, first see your available upgrade options in the pictures and the lock details below.  Then select the lock you have decided on in the "Lock" drop down Menu.

 IMPORTANT: PERMANENT LOCKS COME WITH NO KEY AND NO KEYHOLE. ONCE LOCKED IT MUST BE CUT OFF TO BE REMOVED

* NOTE:  NOT ALL LOCKS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR ALL COLLARS.  IF THE LOCK MENU DOES NOT SHOW A LOCK IT IS BECAUSE WE DON'T RECOMMEND IT FOR THIS SPECIFIC COLLAR.  

NICKEL PLATED LOCKS (NO UPGRADE - FREE)
This lock is composed of a zinc alloy core, plated with a silvery mirror nickel finish. As with ALL plated items, the finish will eventually and permanently wear away with use leaving it looking dingy and tarnished. This wear cannot be repaired or fixed. The nickel plated lock is not recommended with those who have sensitive skin or are allergic to the latter mentioned metals. This is a temporary lock. Additional keys can be added to cart in the "lock" section of our store.

SOLID 925 STERLING SILVER LOCKS: 

(includes permanent "Perm")
This lock is entirely solid 925 sterling silver, including the inside workings, with the exception of the 316L Stainless Steel rust resistant inner spring. One "locking" lock will come with one solid 925 sterling silver key. Additional keys can be added to cart in the "lock" section of our store. One Permanent or "Perm" lock will come WITHOUT keys and will be solid on both sides of the lock (no keyhole). These locks cannot be opened again once locked on. Lock dimensions are no different between locking and permanent. Each lock (and its key where applicable) will come with a quality stamp (bottom back) and our legal company hallmark (side edge) on each unit.

NOTE:  This collar can be made in a longer length. If needed, do not buy this listing. Instead, write us directly regarding this request and well will gladly help you out with a private listing to account for the additional length charge.

IMPORTANT:  SOLID FLAT RECTANGULAR (HEAVY MEDIUM OR LARGE) CUFF COLLARS ARE MADE TO BE PUT ON AND RARELY IF EVER TAKEN OFF.  IF YOU WANT A CUFF THAT CAN BE FREQUENTLY REMOVED PLEASE SEE "CUFF STYLES" BELOW.  THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO ROUND WIRE CUFFS.

24/7 WEAR VS. DAILY WEAR
Each collar is rated for its wearabilty.  You will find this rating above.  While most of our collars are 24/7 continuous wear, some are rated as Daily Wear.  Daily wear is essentially has all the same conditions as 24/7 wear with the exception that the collar is not rated to be worn while sleeping.  You can get more information about 24/7 VS. Daily Wear in our FAQ's section.

 If you want your lock to also be 24/7 make sure to  be certain the lock you select along with this collar is also 24/7 wear. All locks will be offered in the "Lock drop down menu."

 The collar above is shown with the free nickel plated mini heart lock.

ENGRAVING:
All of our locks can be engraved with the exception of any of our clasps.  We have worked very hard to make our listings be able to offer engraving options right from within the product listing.  When you select your lock you will be asked if you want engraving.  Just click on "yes" and follow the prompts.  

ONE SIDEDE ENGRAVING - $14.95

2 SIDED ENGRAVING - $29.95

We offer 2 fonts:  Script and Block.  Please see listing's pictures for examples.  If you have a specific font that you would like, please email us first to see if we can do it for you.

We can also engrave symbols, logos, and photographs.  Triskelions and simple line art is an additional $9.95 per symbol.  More complex engravings are priced depending on the nature of the engraving.  If you want something special engraved please email us first before making your purchase.

 Also, please remember this collar is being handcrafted and you must understand and allow for human accuracy, not machined accuracy. There are NO mass produced items here. While we pride ourselves on accuracy, our works will be within a 1/8” inch, give or take. This is negligible and certainly not enough to affect the fit of your collar.

CUFF STYLES:
As mentioned above, Flat Rectangular Solid (Heavy) Cuff Collars (primarily for neck and ankle cuffs) are not designed for daily removal. (This does NOT apply to rouond wire cuffs).  This is because neck and ankle collars have to bend to be put on and taken off.  If you want the look of a cuff but need to take it off  daily or frequently you should consider either a 3/4 cuff (closes with chains) or having a hinge installed.   If this is a concern for you please write us first before you make your purchase so we can discuss and explain your options and additional fees.
